DATA LIABILITY

When we repair any laptop, we take critical care of your data. Its one of our golden rules to make sure your data is respected and kept as safe as possible, however, hardware can fail and data can become corrupt. In the case of any loss or corruption to any data during your repair, we cannot accept any liability.

WARRANTY

Warranty only covers the specific parts replaced in your device. Any future faults not deemed related to the original repair by Devon Tech Services will not be covered and will be chargable at our standard pricing.

Devon Tech Services does not accept any responsibility or liability for any data lost due to hardware failure under warranty. We strongly advise customers to backup their data.

Please be aware that occasionally when an item is dismantled for repair further damage becomes apparent and may mean the device cannot be repaired or re-assembled, Devon Tech Services does not accept any responsibility for this occurrence although we will endeavor to help as much as possible.

With some iPads, functions such as auto lock for smart cases may cause problems after a screen replacement. This is not covered by warranty. To solve this issue after repair, simple turn the auto lock function off within the iPad settings. This is due to a specific sensor installed only on Genuine Apple LCDs which we do not have access too. Any software faults, glitches or other issues not related to the repair of your mobile device are not covered by warranty.

RETURNS / REFUNDS

If a product becomes faulty, you can return it within 28 days for a full refund or exchange. This excludes faults caused by neglect / accidental damage.

If you have purchased a product and are returning it for any other reason other than the above, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

If you purchase a laptop or PC from Devon Tech Services, we offer free in store setup. This service comes as is and with no warranty / liability.

If you are returning a device we've setup in store or at home within the quoted cost, we will deduct the cost of our labour at our standard rates from the refund.

Any products you've purchased from us on "special order" cannot be refunded under any circumstances. In the case of a faulty item, we will either attempt to repair or replace your item free of charge under warranty.

VAPOURLITES

All E-Liquid products are only available for over 18s. Products such as E-Liquids cannot be returned for a refund once purchased for hygiene reasons. This applies to but not limited too:

E-Liquids
Tanks
Pipes

If you have a faulty device, return it within 28 days of purchase and we will happily exchange your item for you.

Malware Removals / Windows Installations

When we perform a wipe / re-install or clean install of Windows, all programs currently installed will be removed and will need to be re-installed. We can install software if the disks are provided before the machine is booked in. Your machine will also loose its settings such as desktop wallpaper & WiFi Settings (not limited too).

When we perform a malware scan on any machine, our scanners can detect intentionally installed software as malware and remove them. These are usually browser addons, YouTube video downloads and other similar softwares. Our malware scanners may remove them because of their links to adware and other stability / security problems with your machine. If you choose to re-install these programs, your repair warranty may be void. Please always read the terms & conditions of software you install.
